Vinyl is back.  Record stores are returning, and you’re even finding vinyl in places like Barnes & Noble.

I had kept a number of my albums from the past.  Then, Weirdsville Records opened a block away from my office.  From them, I purchased a Crosley turntable and a number of albums, getting hooked back into playing records in the basement, just like we did growing up.

This series of articles isn’t so much a critical review of the music, but rather a personal historical perspective of having grown up on the radio and the record player as being the source of musical entertainment.
