You could perhaps store the Olivetti up on its back end in your book shelf.
I keep one or two machines out for use and store the rest away, then rotate them through, once every month or whenever inspiration hits to try another machine.
It is a good dilemma to have.
I have space on a shelf in my office where it could sit next to the ugly Royal FP that I’m considering. I’m thinking that if I’m seeing it daily in my office I’ll likely pull it down and use it alternatively with the Quiet De Luxe.
Yes. Good dilemma.

The smallest room in the house? Which is not a reflection on the typewriter, I love the two I have. 😉
That would either be my office or library. The rest of the house I share with my wife, who doesn’t find the typewriter to be decorative. She’s my polar opposite when it comes to technology. She teaches Computer-Aided Design & Drafting in the high school. Her motto is, if it can be done on a computer nothing else is needed.
